Glyn Uzzell

Born in Swindon, Glyn Uzzell studied at London Institute of Education and at Goldsmith’s College between 1949 and 1951. He moved to Geneva in 1957 and taught at the National School of Geneva and in 1964 he co-founded the Galerie Contemporaine in Geneva in order to promote the work of young artists. He then went on to study printmaking in New York and finally settled in Portugal where he set up his studio and print workshop. He has exhibited widely, particularly in Switzerland, Germany and Portugal.
