Ritzert, Diether: Bunch of Flowers – RESERVED

£350.00

A superb original and highly imaginative linocut in which the background and foreground colouring switches across the print. A proof copy in perfect condition, newly framed, the style is typical of German ‘Expressionism’ and the print bears the stamp in relief of the Woensampresse, a community of graphic designers and artists founded in Cologne in 1934.

He became a student at the State College of Fine Arts in 1943 and took part in his first exhibition in 1945.
